Vassilika

40 mins from Villa Averoff, Evia

Vasilika is a picturesque village with an impressively long beach called Psaropouli. According to tradition, the village was given this name (Vasilika means regal) because the ships of the Persian king Xerxes dropped anchor near the beach of Psaropouli during the naval battle of Artemisio.
